The Magic Millions National Yearling Sale will be held next Monday and Tuesday (August 3 and 4 ) at the Gold Coast and Hunter Valley nursery Valiant Stud will present a quality draft of eight featuring the progeny of proven favourites like So You Think and popular newcomers Shalaa (IRE) and Astern, not to mention an eye-catching grey colt by Reliable Man (GB).

Lot 1239 Colt Shalaa (IRE) x Lonoree, by Lonhro

By a young sire in Shalaa that already has three winners on the board in Europe and Group II place-getter Saeiqa. This colt is a half-brother to two metropolitan winners and his dam Lonoree is a daughter of Group I winner Euphoria and is a half-sister to the dam of $1.5million earning Group I winner Secret Agenda.

A late November foal that has been given time and is a big strong colt with an international pedigree. Third foal of an unraced half-sister to Group I Hollywood Derby winner Seek Again and dam is a daughter of Group I winning Danehill mare Light Jig.
