$2million for Champagne Cuddles

Tara Madgwick - Monday July 27

Turangga Farm bred Champagne Cuddles might not be a Group I winner, but she had Group I talent which is why Tom Magnier bid $2million at the Magic Millions National Sale on Monday to secure the five year-old daughter of Not a Single Doubt.

Trained by Bjorn Baker, Champagne Cuddles was a Group II winner of $1.5million and her four Group I placings were a great vindication of her quality.

Champagne Cuddles sold for $2million

Featuring a 3 x 3 double cross of blue hen Easy Date, Champagne Cuddles is from Tunrangga Farm’s iconic Suggestive family being a half-sister to the dam of Group III winner Violate from Group I winner Sky Cuddle.

Tom Magnier has purchased three of the top four lots that sold on Monday for $1million or more.
