Unusual Update for Lot 240

Tara Madgwick - Monday July 27

The delayed 2020 Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale due to the pandemic has resulted in some unusual circumstances including the early arrival of a cracking colt foal this morning for a well bred mare due to be offered for sale on Tuesday.

Consigned by Manx Park as agent as Lot 240, Hollywood Heart produced a strong colt foal earlier today by promising young sire Extreme Choice, whose first yearlings sold this year for up to $340,000.

Hollywood Heart with her Extreme Choice colt born on Monday morning.

Hollywood Heart comes with a fast Black Type pedigree blessed with precocious speed as a winning half-sister to Group III winning juvenile Setsuna and stakes-winning juvenile Miss Solis, the dam of Group III ATC Kindergarten Stakes winner Paquirri.

Further back in the family is quality staying blood with Melbourne Cup winner Jezabeel appearing on the page and Hollywood Heart is already on the board as a producer with her first foal Hollywood Dreaming a winner for the Matt Dunne stable since the catalogue went to print.

The mare and foal are available for inspection at Manx Park.
