Sixth Winner for Outreach

Promising young sire Outreach posted his sixth winner when the Chris Waller trained Castlecomer saluted at Gosford on Saturday.

Having his second run back from a spell after being gelded, Castlecomer relished the step out to 1600m and led all the way to score a determined short head win.

A $150,000 Inglis Classic purchase from the Kanangra draft for Chris Waller Racing / Guy Mulcaster Bloodstock, Castlecomer is a half-brother to Group I winner Under the Louvre and Group III placed La Pulga being the sixth winner from six foals to race from top producer Barcelona Girl.

Barcelona Girl had another colt by Outreach last year and he is her final foal.

A blue-blooded son of Exceed and Excel, Outreach stands at Widden Stud at a fee of $5,500 this spring.
