Winx Relation Tops Inglis Easter Round 2

Tara Madgwick - Sunday July 5

World champion racehorse Winx retired to stud last season and is due to foal this spring to I Am Invincible and for those curious as to what the resulting foal may be like we have probably seen a sneak preview in the shape of the top lot at Inglis Easter Round 2.

This colt related to Wins topped Inglis Easter Round 2

Consigned by Bhima Thoroughbreds as Lot 95 was the I Am Invincible colt from Miss Atom Bomb, a half-sister by Encosta de Lago to $26million earner Winx.

He was passed in shy of a $1million reserve at the Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale back in April, but found a buyer this time in the shape of leading trainer Gerald Ryan, who paid $700,000 to secure the blue-blood.

The sale-topper is the third foal of his dam, who has already produced a winner and has a weanling colt to follow, also by I Am Invincible.
