Latest Information on Inglis July Sales Series

Media Release - Tuesday June 30

As a result of advice from the NSW State Government and Racing NSW resulting from the increasing COVID-19 situation in Victoria, all Victorian-domiciled persons will be unable to attend Riverside Stables at the upcoming Inglis July Sales Series auctions.

This includes all vendors, vendor staff, vets and buyers.

As a result of the restrictions, the following changes have been made to the respective sales.

EASTER YEARLING SALE AND SCONE YEARLING SALE, SUNDAY JULY 5, RIVERSIDE STABLES

These auctions will both proceed as scheduled. Alternative NSW staffing arrangements have been agreed for all Victorian-based vendors who are looking to participate in the sale.

Victorian-based buyers and agents interested in being active participants of either sale are encouraged to register for online bidding, as both auctions will be streamed live onto inglis.com.au.

Alternatively, some Inglis bloodstock staff will be available for telephone bidding should that pose an easier solution.

Inspections for both these sales begin at Riverside tomorrow, Wednesday July 1.

GREAT SOUTHERN SALE, SCHEDULED THURSDAY JULY 9, RIVERSIDE STABLES

This auction will no longer take place at Riverside next week.

It has instead been transferred to Sunday, August 9 at Oaklands Junction.

The sale’s exact schedule will be confirmed subject to finalisation of supplementary entries.

Should restrictions at the time not allow for the Great Southern Sale to proceed as a live auction at Oaklands on Sunday August 9, it will revert to an Inglis Digital Online auction.

Further details on this will be made available in coming weeks.

MELBOURNE GOLD YEARLING SALE, THURSDAY JULY 16, OAKLANDS

At this stage, this auction will proceed as scheduled.

If restrictions at the time mean that Inglis feel it is not possible for the sale to proceed as a live auction at Oaklands on July 16, it will revert to an Inglis Digital Online auction.

Oaklands Junction is not in the current list of suburbs placed into lockdown by the Victorian Government.

**Please note, as part of the COVID-19 Safe Plan, all participants of the upcoming sales at Riverside are required to register to be on the precinct at all times.
