12th Stakes-Winner for Power

Media Release - Tuesday June 30

The Oaklands Stud Farm were thrilled to see resident stallion, Power (Oasis Dream) sire his 12th stakes winner courtesy of Wakanaka’s (2f ex Storyline by Kodiac) win in the Premio Vittorio Crespi (Listed, 1200m) at Milan.

The two-year-old filly beat Fulgentia (Territories) into second with Permetti (Helmet) coming home in third. Watch the race here >

Power’s stakes winners are headed by Group 2 winning pair Gift Of Power, who won the Wakefield Challenge Stakes (Gr 2, 1200m) and La Force in the US.

Having been the champion 1st and 2nd Season Sire in NZ, Power's first QLD-bred yearlings will hit the sales ring next year with great excitement.

Power

He has been very popular early in the season with bookings and is on track for a record season in the breeding barn. He will stand for a fee of $11,000 (inc GST) this season.
