Juvenile Trial Watch – Randwick

Tara Madgwick - Friday June 26

A busy morning at the Randwick trials on Friday with eight heats for juveniles and some interesting winners including a well bred Snitzel colt that has an older full brother now at stud and a younger full brother to be offered in Inglis Easter Round 2.

Trained by Peter and Paul Snowden, Rule of Law was having his second trial and did everything right, settling in behind the leaders and extending nicely when asked by Tommy Berry to score a soft half length win in the 1045m heat.

A $450,000 Inglis Easter purchase from the Highgrove Stud draft for China Horse Club / Newgate Bloodstock / WinStar, Rule of Law is a full brother to brilliant Group II winning sprinter Thronum, who stands at Sun Stud.

Rule of Law as a yearling

He is the fifth foal from Helena’s Secret (USA), who comes from the family of champion sires Street Cry and Shamardal.

The sixth foal from Helena’s Secret is another colt by Snitzel that will be offered at Inglis Easter Round 2 as Lot 89 by Highgrove Stud.
