Juddmonte Confirm Sale of Siskin Breeding Rights

Tara Madgwick - Monday June 15

The breeding rights to Juddmonte Farms homebred undefeated Irish 2,000 Guineas winner Siskin have been sold with the deal confirmed by Teddy Grimthorpe, racing manager to Prince Khalid Abdullah.

Rumours that such a deal had been struck have been rife and are now confirmed albeit without the identity of the purchaser.

Grimthorpe told Sky Sports Racing: "To confirm, because obviously there's been various rumours and talk, breeding rights have been sold to him to a group of breeders. Confidentiality says that I cannot say any further."

He added: "He will continue to race in the colours and name of Prince Khalid for his racing career."

Coolmore and partners are seen as the most likely purchaser given their previous history with Juddmonte having stood Danehill and now Calyx.
