Juddmonte Farm have announced the death of champion US racehorse and promising young sire Arrogate following a brief illness that is yet to be diagnosed.

Arrogate was the highest earning horse in US history and had a four-year racing campaign that saw him win the Breeder’s Cup Classic in 2016, the 2017 Pegasus World Cup (that saw him set a track record) and the 2017 Dubai World Cup.

The son of Unridled’s Song retired to Juddmonte’s Kentucky farm for the 2018 breeding season and covered an illustrious book of 145 mares at a fee of $75,000.
