Bell View Park Mares a Highlight for Inglis Digital June

Sponsored Content - by Tara Madgwick - Monday June 1

Respected South Coast bloodstock enterprise Bell View Park have a reputation for meeting the market and will offer a quality draft of 10 young mares in the upcoming Inglis Digital Early June Sale set to go live on Friday afternoon (June 5), with the final countdown of bidding scheduled to begin at 3pm Wednesday, June 10.

“We sold all six of our mares at the Chairman's Sale which ended up having a clearance rate of approximately 65% and will be doing our best to sell these mares as well,” said Adam Mackrell.

These mares are by champion sires including I am Invincible, Exceed and Excel, Invincible Spirit, Hinchinbrook, Sebring and O'Reilly and the draft includes a stakes performer, four metropolitan winners and a half-sister to a Group I winner.

They are from some outstanding female families which include Eight Carat, Denise's Joy, Snitzel, Sunlight, Zabeel and Zarkava, with the pregnant mares in foal to Deep Field, Rubick, American Pharaoh (USA), Vancouver and Shooting To Win.

"We have put together a very nice draft of mares for this sale,” Mackrell said.

“Physically they are an appealing group of mares and they are backed up by some excellent pedigrees and racetrack performance. As always we plan our matings carefully and the stallions they are in foal to complement the mares nicely.

“The majority of mares we sell are pregnant but we do generally sell some maidens every year to balance out our drafts.

“A good example of this was the stakes winning Testa Rossa mare Cavaloce who we sold at the Magic Millions sale in 2017 for 180k to Freyer Bloodstock. She visited Dundeel in her maiden season and produced a colt that was purchased by John Sadler Racing for 340k at this year's Magic Millions yearling sale.”

Here are some of the highlights of the draft:
