One to Watch – Geelong

Tara Madgwick - Friday May 29

From last to first, it was an eye-catching debut win on Friday for this baldy faced two year-old daughter of Sebring.

Sent out favourite for the juvenile fillies maiden at Geelong, the Anthony Freedman trained Agreeable was allowed to find her feet by Jamie Kah before unleashing a big finish.

She swept into contention over the final furlong, zooming past the field in the middle of the track to win eased down by a couple of lengths.

“She’s shown us good ability at home and hopefully she can springboard from here into some nice races,” said Sam Freedman in his post race remarks.

“She’ll be city class definitely. She’ll probably have a little break now and we’ll look for some early spring three year-old fillies races.”

A $125,000 Inglis Premier purchase from the Blue Gum Farm draft for Dean Hawthorne Bloodstock, Agreeable runs for Jonathan Munz’s Pinecliff Racing.

Agreeable was a $125,000 Inglis Premier purchase

She is the second winner from stakes-winning Husson (Arg) mare Affable, who comes from the family of dual Group I winner and successful sire Turffontein.

Affable has a yearling colt by I Am Invincible that made $290,000 at Inglis Easter earlier this year and is now in foal to  Trapeze Artist.
