Grenville Stud Announce 2020 Fees

Media Release - Wednesday May 20

Grenville Stud are pleased to announce the service fees for our three stallions for the upcoming breeding season.

Zululand - $5,500 inc GST
Stratosphere - $4,400 inc GST
Mawingo - $3,300 inc GST

StratosphereGrenville Stud are passionate about the Tasmanian breeding industry and here to support local breeders. Grenville is committed to standing well credentialed stallions that provide breeders with value for money. We are happy to tailor a package to suit the needs of each individual breeder and work with you to achieve your breeding goals.

Stratosphere was exceptionally well supported by breeders in his first season at stud last season covering an excellent book of mares and we are eagerly awaiting his first foals this coming spring. Stratosphere is by champion sire Snitzel and from an exceptionally fast female family and is a full brother to stakes winners Sprightly Lass and Le Cordon Bleu. Stratosphere was a $925k yearling showing what a brilliant type he is himself.

Zululand was an outstanding 2YO winning the Group 2 VRC Sires Produce and running second in the Group 1 AJC Champagne Stakes. Zululand is also an outstanding type, they don't sell for $1.5m as a yearling if they aren't a great type. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree and Zululand's first foals are EXCEPTIONAL types. We encourage you to come to Grenville and look at some of Zululand's weanlings and see them for yourself.

Mawingo is continuing to show he is an emerging sire from very limited runners to date. Soldier of Love (Mawingo - Lurking Lilli) again proved his class with an excellent win at Royal Randwick last weekend.

For further details on the stallions head to www.grenville.com.au or alternatively contact Bart on 0403 608 873 or Graeme on 0417 018 895 to discuss your breeding needs.
