Cornerstone Stud has been South Australia’s Premier Stallion Station for nearly two decades and our commitment to the State’s breeders remains strong. Consequently, AMBIDEXTER, SIR PRANCEALOT and VALENTIA will have their services fees for 2020 reduced by 25% to encourage local breeders to engage with a history that is steeped in success.
 
AMBIDEXTER will stand the 2020 season for $4,400.

SIR PRANCEALOT will stand the 2020 season for $9,900

A proven Group 1 producing sire whose 1st Southern Hemisphere crop were sold into the Group 1 winning stables of Gai Waterhouse, Tony McEvoy, Lindsey Smith and Gordon Richards. A sire with a proven affinity to DANEHILL and a sire who you can invest in with confidence, knowing his 4th crop will be sold off the racetrack successes of a “proven” first season sire. SIR PRANCEALOT is proven to produce quality, durability and also prodigious talent and we are hoping the lure of a $9,900 service fee will seem cheap, when his 1st runners arrive at the start of in the coming season.
 
VALENTIA will stand the 2020 season for $5,500

Positioned in the top 15 on the 1st Season Sires Table and the only 1st Season sire to produce a Group 1 performed descendant in the 19/20 season with FAYERRA running 4th in the Group 1 Champagne Stks. This is a unique opportunity to “back-in” a stallion that could be recognised as a pre-potent source of class in 12 months from now and the $5,500 provides commercial breeders to optimise a return in the sales ring.
 
Sadly, due to the evolution of COVID-19, Cornerstone Stud and Hill’N’Dale Stud have duly postponed the shuttle option on WORLD OF TROUBLE for 12 months.
 

We as a farm had received some healthy SA and interstate support in early January, but frustratingly we have felt encumbered to postpone the arrival of WORLD OF TROUBLE with the onset of COVID-19. Although I’ve an unwaivering belief in WORLD OF TROUBLE’s credentials, speed and sireline, I just felt that the SA Thoroughbred industry was not in a position to throw its collective weight behind a $22,000 dual Group 1 winning sprinter and consequently we will review our position in 2021,” explained Sam Hayes.
