The form of last Saturday’s exciting So You Think winner Peltzer was franked at Wyong on Thursday when the horse he defeated on debut came out and won by nearly seven lengths.

Anders as a yearlingTrained by Ciaron Maher and David Eustace, Anders came up short last start when beaten more than a length by Peltzer, but had all the answers this time when he led all the way to win the 1100 metre maiden in a breeze as a hot favourite.

A $670,000 Magic Millions purchase for Aquis Farms Pty Ltd/Ciaron Maher Racing from the Arrowfield Stud draft, Anders is a three-quarter brother by Not a Single Doubt to stakes-placed Battleground and is the third winner from Madame Andree.

Arrowfield sold the current yearling from Madame Andree, a colt by Shalaa (IRE), for $360,000 at Magic Millions this year to George Moore Bloodstock. Gary Moore Racing.
