Anders as a yearlingTrained by Ciaron Maher and David Eustace, Anders came up short last start when beaten more than a length by Peltzer, but had all the answers this time when he led all the way to win the 1100 metre maiden in a breeze as a hot favourite.

A $670,000 Magic Millions purchase for Aquis Farms Pty Ltd/Ciaron Maher Racing from the Arrowfield Stud draft, Anders is a three-quarter brother by Not a Single Doubt to stakes-placed Battleground and is the third winner from Madame Andree.

Arrowfield sold the current yearling from Madame Andree, a colt by Shalaa (IRE), for $360,000 at Magic Millions this year to George Moore Bloodstock. Gary Moore Racing.
