Top jockeys Kerrin McEvoy and Hugh Bowman rode eight of the nine winners at Randwick on Saturday.

McEvoy left the meeting with a personal best haul of five winners while Bowman finished with a treble.

The other winning rider on the day was Josh Adams aboard Happy Clapper in the Group II Tramway Stakes (1400m).

Once again, Racenet was on hand to get the feedback from every rider after every race.

This is what the jockeys thought of their rides during the day.

SUPER EX

Hugh Bowman

He's a really nice progressive type of horse and I think he'll improve from what we saw today.

2nd

MEROVEE

Kerrin McEvoy

Good run. He's improved a lot from trials to racing and winning his maiden. It was a good effort and another 50 yards he probably wins the race.

3rd

BEAU GESTE

Brenton Avdulla

Nice run. Ran honestly but the first two were fit horses.

4th

ISLAND MISSILE

Tye Angland

Good run. Nice horse on the improve and probably needs a mile now.

5th

ANDAZ

Glyn Schofield

He's still learning his craft. Maybe he wants to be ridden a tad quieter.

6th

DISSOLUTION

Corey Brown

I was a bit disappointed with him. I thought he could have done a bit more. Although I do think he will be better over further.

7th

ALBUMIN

Joshua Parr

I gave him a horror ride but he could very well be better at a shorter trip ridden off the speed.

8th

DEVOLVING

Andrew Adkins (a1.5)

Raced very greenly. I didn't have much luck from the jump and she wanted to wrestle me for most of the race.

UP 'N' ROLLING

Kerrin McEvoy

Dominant win. He's better than that grade so he's a metrop chance for sure.

2nd

WAHNG WAH

Rachel King (a1.5)

Really strong run but every time I edged a bit closer the winner kept pulling out a bit more. She's done well because it was a big step up today.

3rd

ADMIRAL JELLO

Corey Brown

Had to go back further than where I wanted to be but he ran super. From that sticky barrier, I just got shuffled back.

4th

DOUKHAN

Tye Angland

Very good run first-up. He'll improve a lot.

5th

PLYMOUTH ROAD

Jay Ford

Bled.

6th

MULTIFACETS

Hugh Bowman

I was hoping to lead but there was too much pressure. Things just didn't work out for him after that.

7th

ROMAN SON

Brenton Avdulla

He just pulled himself into the ground fresh.

8th

MY GIULIANO

Michael Walker

Just had to do too much work.

EMBLEY

Kerrin McEvoy

Nice effort. He got out to a nice trip today and got into a nice rhythm in front. The other day he pulled a bit but today he was much better and showed what he can do.

2nd

MORE TO GAIN

Peter Wells

Disappointing we didn't get the result but the horse has run out of his skin again and he thinks he's won. It will do the world of good for his confidence.

3rd

ALL BUT GONE

Andrew Adkins (a1.5)

Very good run. Travelled well throughout and is probably looking for a bit further now.

4th

JAMINZAH

Hugh Bowman

Unlucky.

5th

MIAMI DADE

Christian Reith

He ran well. Just needs to come back in class a bit.

6th

MANDALONG KISS

Andrew Banks

7th

MURAQABA

Brenton Avdulla

Jumped OK. Tracked the winner but when I gave him a squeeze he didn't let go in that ground.

8th

ZIN ZAN EDDIE

Tye Angland

He was disappointing really. Probably had enough.

MY TAGOSON

Hugh Bowman

Really good effort. Ridiculous pace up front which didn't really suit me because he didn't travel as well as he did last start but I was banking on them coming back to me which they did. Once he was in touch he took himself to the line.

2nd

MAKFI LASS

Rachel King (a1.5)

Really strong run. They went quick early which had her off her feet.

3rd

SUPER STAR BOB

Tye Angland

Disappointing late. He was there to win it but didn't know what to do.

4th

SCHEDULE

Kerrin McEvoy

Traffic problems cost him finishing closer.

5th

COUNT CUMANI

Corey Brown

Ran well but it was a bit short for him.

6th

COLLINS CREEK

Andrew Adkins (a1.5)

Had to do too much work. Gutsy performance considering the work he did early.

MISTER MARMALADE

Chelsea McFarlane

LAST TRY WINS

Glyn Schofield

Refused to take part.

9th

BONSLEY

Blake Spriggs

He ran well. He's got ability but just needs to drop back to 1200m.

10th

CRITICAL TOUCH

Jay Ford

Too much pressure early and folded late.

FRATERNATER

Carly Frater-Hill (a3)

SNOWBROOK

Forget run, wide.

REDZEL

Kerrin McEvoy

Nice win. Everything says he's back in good order and maybe even improved into this preparation.

2nd

SPIETH

Corey Brown

He ran really well. I think just the fitness of the winner told in the end but my horse is improving.

3rd

NIETA

Brenton Avdulla

I thought she aquitted herself well. She got beat by a Group I winner and a horse that should have won a couple of Group I's.

4th

THE MONSTAR

Josh Adams

He ran as well as he probably can in that grade. The hard track doesn't help him and he's had a few runs this time in so he didn't quite have the toe he's had before.

FORMALITY

Kerrin McEvoy

I think they'll go to the Golden Rose now with this filly. I don't know about her beyond 1200m but this time of year you've probably got to roll the dice.

2nd

CHAMPAGNE CUDDLES

Tye Angland

Ran super. My only option was to go back, get a bit of cover and save her for a late run – she went superb.

3rd

I AM EXCITED

Corey Brown

She was unlucky. The Godolphin runner came charging out in the straight and just unbalanced my horse and she never really got going again until the last 100m.

4th

ALIZEE

Hugh Bowman

She raced well. Got a little unbalanced at the top of the straight which did affect her but no excuses, too good the winner.

5th

SEANNIE

Tim Clark

Solid enough run. I think 1400m will really suit.

6th

JOYFILLY OURS

Joshua Parr

Very disappointing. Placed under pressure she wanted to lug off the track, unsure why.

7th

WHISPERED SECRET

Glyn Schofield

Pleasing enough return. Just got outsprinted late.

WINX

Hugh Bowman

I was more worried today than the Warwick Stakes because I was making such a long, sustained run. The ear muffs might have dulled her but I don't think she knew the other one was out there because when she saw him she picked up straight away. I couldn't ride any other horse like that.

2nd

RED EXCITEMENT

Joshua Parr

Oh man I thought I'd pulled it off. He's in such great form at the moment. He deserved to win but ran into possibly the greatest ever.

3rd

CHOCANTE

Rory Hutchings

Super run first-up. He only had one trial coming into this mile and he ran the race out strongly. The only way I'd be happier would be if we won the race.

4th

ANTONIO GIUSEPPE

Tye Angland

Really good run. He's looking for a bit further now.

5th

LIFE LESS ORDINARY

Kerrin McEvoy

Nice run from him. The race was on from the 800m and his run might have peaked so there'll be natural improvement to come.

6th

LIBRAN

Glyn Schofield

Clearly too short for him but I think he resumed very well.

7th

HARPER'S CHOICE

Brenton Avdulla

I thought he ran well. When Red Excitement brought speed into the race before the bend my horse became a bit one-paced and my immediate focus went to Winx.

8th

SENSE OF OCCASION

Corey Brown

He ran well for a stayer resuming. He had to do the donkey work and drag the rest of the field up.

9th

WHO SHOT THEBARMAN

Christian Reith

Really good return. That's what I expected of him today. The horse feels good and is in for a good preparation.

10th

ALLERGIC

Tim Clark

He was doing his best work late, he's ticking over well.

11th

SARRASIN

Michael Walker

Very disappointing.

12th

LASQUETI SPIRIT

Jay Ford

She obviously hasn't come up.

HAPPY CLAPPER

Josh Adams

He travelled so well. I just had a plan to be a little bit closer than they had him on paper, I think that is the best way to ride him because he can get out of his ground a little bit too far, but he put them away very quickly. Bring on the Epsom.

2nd

TOM MELBOURNE

Michael Walker

Really good run. He got exposed a bit early.

3rd

INVINCIBLE GEM

Corey Brown

I was expecting Ecuador to take me all the way into the straight but he was a beaten horse. She was luckless today but she's going well enough and will go into the Epsom and run well.

4th

ECUADOR

Adam Hyeronimus

Very honest run but I think today he showed the effects of his great first-up run.

5th

HEAVENS ABOVE

Tye Angland

Really good. Probably her best first-up run in a while so it's good to see.

6th

MACKINTOSH

Tim Clark

Went back from the wide gate and closed off well.

7th

MAURUS

Blake Spriggs

Super. I couldn't have been happier. He felt like he rattled off some good sectionals over the last 400m and once he gets to a mile and beyond.

8th

MCCREERY

Hugh Bowman

He was a bit disappointing on face value but I wasn't too disappointed. He's better in a high-pressure race with a bit of give in the ground.

9th

THE VIRGINIAN

Glyn Schofield

Up in distance today he raced a bit keenly.

10th

ZANBAGH

Joshua Parr

She failed to let down on the firm surface.

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS

Kerrin McEvoy

There wasn't much room to squeeze through. The lack of tempo didn't really suit him either but he did a great job to get through and win.

2nd

DAWN WALL

Corey Brown

I thought I was home but the winner got all the cheap runs up the inside.

3rd

ROCKET COMMANDER

Tim Clark

Good solid performance.

4th

BERRY DELICIOUS

Adam Hyeronimus

She ran nice enough just probably wants more tempo on.

5th

MY NORDIC HERO

Michael Walker

Top run after two years off. I think he's come back a really nice horse.

6th

FREE STANDING

Jay Ford

He closed off well.

7th

VELADERO

Glyn Schofield

Tough run first-up.

8th

MARENOSTRO

Blaike McDougall (a3)

I think he's probably come to the end of his prep so he'll likely go out for a spell.
