Right Time, Right Place, Right Stallion

Media Release - Wednesday April 29

With Sir Prancealot (IRE) about to have his first crop of runners in Australia next season, Cornerstone Stud believe now is the time to be investing in his progeny.

Sir Prancealot is a proven sire of stakes-winners including G1 winner Lady PrancealotPunting on a freshman sire is generally like backing a 20 to 1 shot.

Those odds improve when the sire you are investing in has already produced 32 individual winners in his first European crop. These odds are wound in further when those 2YO’s have trained on to win on multiple occasions at three and four.

By the time you throw in Group III winners, Group II winners and a recent Group I winner you are no longer speculating.

In fact you are quietly turning on your computer and registering to bid at Magic Millions Online.

We are not suggesting the weanlings, yearlings and mares in foal to Sir Prancealot will be making anything near their true value. So, NOW is certainly the right time to buy and Magic Millions Online is the right place to be buying.

We hope you agree that Sir Prancealot is the right stallion in the right place at the right time.

Please check out the following lots…..

Lot 4 Filly Sir Prancealot (IRE) x Beune, by Stratum - Third foal of winning daughter of Group I winner France Soir.

Cornerstone notes - An impressive style of filly with genuine strength, grunt and precocity. She possesses a good amount of bone, has short cannons and a great depth and breadth of hip. A tough looking filly that will be a sharp, early running 2yo. Critically speaking, she marginally soft through her pasterns and mildly offset through her knees, but once she overcomes the weaning process she should strengthen up notably.

Being from a STRATUM mare, it is worth noting that in SIR PRANCEALOT 1st four Northern Hemisphere crops he produced a Stakes Performer to runner 25% of the time when placed over a DANEHILL line mare.

Lot 5 Filly Sir Prancealot (IRE) x Blanchee, by Oratorio (IRE) – Half-sister to a winner from an unraced half-sister to Group I winner The Pooka.

Cornerstone notes - A good quality and correct filly with substance and quality. Like her mother, she possesses a great depth of hip and is very balanced filly that will shape up into a precocious and attractive looking yearling that possesses a lot of natural strength.

Her 2016 Rubick ½ brother was unfortunately put down after winning jumpouts for the Freedman Stable and her 2yo ½ sister by FOXWEDGE is in work with Mitch Beer and the reports to date have been very encouraging.

SIR PRANCEALOT fillies averaged $33,714 at the 2020 Yearling Sales and he has 3 individual Group winning fillies from 4 crops of racing age, that includes the Grade 1 Santa Anita Oaks winner LADY PRANCEALOT. Furthermore, SIR PRANCEALOT produces a Stakes performer to runners 25% of the time, when placed over a DANEHILL line mare.

Her mother is catalogued as Lot 27

Lot 17 Colt Sir Prancelaot (IRE) x Samzero, by Danzero – First foal of a a four time winner from the family of Group III winner Lord of the Dance.

Lot 17 - click for more information

Cornerstone notes - A strong and set style of colt that is very typical of what SIR PRANCEALOT throws. Short cannons, low slung hocks and a solid hind quarter, this colt is conformationally acceptable; he does toe-out mildly from his off fore.

Being from a DANZERO mare, it is worth noting that in SIR PRANCEALOT 1st four Northern Hemisphere crops he produced a Stakes Performer to runner 25% of the time when placed over a DANEHILL line mare. Furthermore, SIR PRANCEALOT’s colts averaged $46,000 at this year’s yearling sales.
