Breednet Traffic Soars in Response to Pandemic

It has been widely reported that Sky Racing have had a marked increase in audience as a result of the Covid 19 pandemic and we can report Breednet have enjoyed the same benefit for our advertisers as people increasingly focus on the one active sport in the country.

Breednet audience statistics below are for the past five weeks to last Saturday (March 15 – April 18)

Users: 128,895 (91,246) +41.3%
Pageviews: 1,459,180 (1,247,254) +17%
Unique Pageviews: 967,116 (862,060) + 12.2%
Stallion Profiles viewed: 131,917 (103,844) + 27%
News story reads: 169,737 (161,803) + 5%


Of particular interest here is the rise in traffic to stallion profiles, which at this time of year with fees being released play a pivotal role in providing information on these horses to a wide audience and are easily accessed through our race results pages as well as by direct search for a sire.
