Inglis Australian Broodmare Sale Now Online

Mares in foal to the likes of top-class proven sires such as Pierro, Zoustar, Dundeel, So You Think, Brazen Beau, More Than Ready, Written Tycoon, Lonhro, Street Boss, Rubick and Deep Field headline a strong Australian Broodmare Sale catalogue.

The catalogue, which is now available online, features 343 lots, with the original catalogue enhanced further by 40 supplementary lots to be offered at the sale, which will take place on the Inglis Digital Online platform on Sunday May 10.

The Sale also features mares in foal to the majority of Australasia’s most exciting first season sires such as Trapeze Artist, Justify, The Autumn Sun, Saxon Warrior, Brave Smash, Harry Angel, Grunt, Mendelsshon, Santos, Showtime and Lean Mean Machine, as well as mares carrying pregnancies to many of Australasia’s most promising young stallions, including Pride Of Dubai, Capitalist, Vancouver, Russian Revolution, American Pharoah, Flying Artie, Shalaa, Divine Prophet, Hellbent, Merchant Navy, Puissance De Lune, Xtravagant and Sooboog among others.

The Sale includes a diverse range of quality mares, with significant drafts including those from Bhima Thoroughbreds, Segenhoe Stud, Gooree Park Stud and Luskin Park Stud.

The Bhima Thoroughbreds draft will include a reduction by Raffles Racing, with the likes of black-type performers or producers Spectacular Vision, El Sagrado, McIvor Silk and Ready To Lift among some beautifully bred mares.

The Segenhoe Stud draft comprises 21 mares in foal to a diverse range of quality stallions and featuring some of the best colonial and international bloodlines.

There will be no mares present at the Inglis Riverside complex in advance of or during the sale, with prospective purchasers encouraged to contact vendors to discuss the arrangement of any on-farm inspections, with all participants encouraged to respect social distancing measures currently in place.

The Digital platform for the Australian Broodmare Sale will open for bidding from Friday May 8, with lots concluding in sequential order from 10am on Sunday May 10.

All prospective buyers must be pre-registered with the Inglis Digital platform and have credit approval pre-authorised.

The Australian Broodmare Sale comes two days after The Chairman’s Sale, for which the catalogue was announced last week and includes the likes of G1 winners In Her Time, Booker and Unforgotten, Cleanup - the dam of recent G1 Doncaster Mile winner Nettoyer – in foal to The Autumn Sun, G2 winner and G1-placed mare Noire, Admirable – dam of dual G1 winner Vega Magic – in foal to Exceed And Excel, G2-winning Hinchinbrook mare Samara Dancer (in foal to freshman sire Trapeze Artist) and dual Stakes winners such as Sprightly Lass (in foal to Pierro), Sword Of Light (in foal to Fastnet Rock), Lubiton (in foal to I Am Invincible) and Meryl, plus rare offerings in foal to star international stallions like Lope De Vega, Kingman, Frankel and Medaglia d’Oro.

The original catalogue has been further enhanced by the addition of a host of top-class supplementary lots including the likes of Youngstar, five-time G1 placegetter Fundamentalist – in foal to Zoustar and Samaready – if foal to Snitzel, as well a series of other outstanding broodmares and breeding prospects.
